Elevation Journeys is different from other companies that also lead trips to Israel. Our focus is on elevating your faith experience. We don’t want to over-commit your valuable time with a packed itinerary. These are some of the ways we set ourselves, and our clients, apart.
Flexible Structure
The number one piece of feedback we received in our research of trips to Israel was, “I just wish we’d had more time.” And number two was, “I wish we hadn’t been so rushed.” We listened to that.
Instead of over-scheduling and planning each day’s activities down to the minute, we structure our trips to complement sightseeing with adequate rest and free time. Racing from place to place, multiple days in a row, is exhausting. You should be able to experience each place without feeling the need for a vacation by the time you fly home.
The intention of a trip to the Holy Land is to elevate your faith and make memories that affect the rest of your life. Driving by holy sites for a photo-op from the bus, or a whistle stop to look at a place where Jesus performed miracles will not effectively accomplish those goals. Our more relaxed travel pace will give you time to process your experiences in ways that make them more meaningful.
Unique Experiences
Imagine hearing a sermon on a Sunday morning in Bethlehem, overlooking the fields where David was a shepherd, and where an angel announced the birth of Christ to shepherds watching their herds that night. Now imagine being able to share that experience via streaming with your home congregation.
Think of sailing in a boat on the Sea of Galilee, being in the place where Jesus walked on water. Think of reading the Sermon on the Mount, on the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered that exact sermon. Think of wading into the water where the Israelites crossed into Israel after wandering in the desert for 40 years–the same place where Jesus was baptized by his cousin, John the Baptist.
These are just some of the experiences we offer to our clients. Your trip to the Holy Land is about more than simply seeing the sites and taking photos to share later. It’s about experiencing the biblical sites in a way that truly elevates your faith.
Add-on Excursions
Jordan
Petra is a very popular add-on excursion for many visitors to Israel. But instead of rushing the experience as an after-thought, our clients are able to visit for three days (or more, if desired). Our clients will have time to visit Petra, stay under the stars in the Wadi Rum Desert, and even explore Jordan’s capital city of Amman, all at a pace that elevates the experience.
Egypt
Many tour companies that lead trips to Israel offer add-on trips to Jordan, but few offer an option to add Egypt to their trips. Because our sister company, Egypt Elite, is the number one Western-led tour company in Egypt, we are able to offer superior excursions throughout the country.
Our clients can add three, five, or seven days to their Israel trips. With us, visitors can explore the Pyramids, Coptic Christian Cairo, the Valley of the Kings, Mount Sinai, relax at a Red Sea resort, or a combination of the above.
