How much walking will we be doing?
Quite a bit! You can plan on walking an average of 15,000-20,000 steps per day. But you will be looking at so many new places and learning so many interesting things, you may hardly even notice while you’re out and about. However, Elevation Journeys works quite a bit of free time into our itineraries, and encourages rest days during our trips. If you need to take it at a little slower pace, it’s easy to do so.
How big are your tour groups?
We encourage a minimum of 10 and maximum of 50 guests per group.
What’s your most popular itinerary?
Our 10-day Israel itinerary is the most popular. This itinerary is well-paced and allows clients to see the most sites while having the most faith-building experiences, without feeling rushed.
When should I visit?
The best time to visit Israel and the Holy Land is the time you have available! Spring and fall have the best weather, but summer is a convenient time for most of our clients. Try to avoid Jewish, Christian, and Muslim holidays if possible, for your own convenience, but truly, the time you can visit is the best time for you to visit.
How long should I stay?
We recommend visiting for at least 7-10 days in order to see the sites you want to see at a balanced pace. If you can stay longer, that’s great!
Can I add on a few days in Jordan or Egypt?
Yes, you can! We can easily add on a 3-5 day Jordan excursion, 3-5 day Egypt excursion, or make it a true trip of a lifetime and add both!
How much will it cost?
The average cost for our tours is generally $5,000-$8,000 per person. The price is dependent on the amount of time you spend and the experiences you want to have. Please have a look at our itineraries, and feel free to contact us with any questions.
Is it safe?
Yes! Israel is remarkably safe, especially for visitors. The safety of our clients, guides, drivers, and assistants is our top priority. Please take a look at this article about safety in Israel and the Holy Land for more information.
